In the 60s Franco Bancaro entered the magical world of wood working in the largest Italian sawmill of those years, the F.lli Moruzzi from Lavis (TN).

In the early 1970s Franco set up his own business with Mrs Emma and Mr Heinz Fuchs of Laces, founding the Alpen Legnami wholesale trade.

The company grows, changes and children Marco and Roberto join.

In the 80s, an interesting turning point by expanding the purchasing market and starting a profitable one trade activities in the Czechoslovakia.

In 2000, Alpenest SRO was finally founded in Jindrichuv Hradec, southern Bohemia, Republic Czech.
