In the 1960s Franco Bancaro entered the magical world of woodworking in the largest Italian sawmill of those years, F.lli Moruzzi in Lavis (TN).
At the beginning of the 1970s Franco started his own business with Mrs. Emma and Mr. Heinz Fuchs from Laces and they founded the wholesale business Alpen Legnami.
In the 1980s there occured an interesting turning point and the company expanded its purchasing market and started the profitable commercial activity in Czechoslovakia.
In 2000 there was finally founded the company ALPENEST s.r.o. in Jindrichuv Hradec in the South Bohemia in the Czech Republic.
